Nursery Admission Open In New Delhi Schools For Session 2023-2024

 New Delhi: Nursery admissions in Delhi 2023-24 will open on December 15, 2024, and will close on December 15, 2022. Admission to Delhi schools for the academic year 2022-23 will commence in the Nursery, Kindergarten (KG), and Class 1 private schools. The initial list will be released on February 4 by the Directorate of Education (DoE) in Delhi, and the admission process will finish on March 31, 2022.

According to the age standards for nursery admission in 2022-23, the minimum age for admission in the pre-school (nursery), pre-primary (KG), and Class 1 must be three, four, and five years old by March 31, 2022.

The Delhi Government has given directions for open category admissions, excluding seats for Economically Weaker Sections, Disadvantaged Groups (EWS/DG), and Children with Special Needs (CwSN).

Important Points For Parents Regarding Nursery Admission in Delhi in 2023-24

Nursery, KG, and Class 1 admissions have upper age limits of 4, 5, and 6 years, respectively. As of March 31, 2023, the lower age restriction for entrance in these courses is 3, 4, and 5 years, respectively.

For a charge of Rs 25, application forms will be available at schools till the deadline for registration. It is not necessary to acquire a prospectus.

At the discretion of the head of school, a 30-day age relaxation in the minimum and upper age limits for certain subjects may be allowed. Parents may submit a manual application to the Head of School/Principal to request an age relaxation.

Result of Delhi Nursery Admission List 2023-24

Previously, the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi's Directorate of Education announced Nursery Admission for the academic year 2023-2024. Candidates can apply for Nursery, KG, and First Class admissions online. The procedure for filling out the Delhi Nursery Admission Online Form is now complete. Applicants applied for EWS DG School Admissions from December 15 to January 7, 2022. The Delhi Nursery Admission First Merit List is now being sought by applicants.

The EWS DG School 1st Merit List will be released by EDUDEL on February 4, 2022. Using their login credentials, candidates may access the Delhi Nursery Admission List on the official website. The Department will reply to Parental Inquiries from February 5 through February 12, 2023-24.
